Samuel Lamont & Sons Ltd is a family business which has been manufacturing and supplying a wide range of house-hold textiles for almost 200 years.
History of brand/company
Founded in 1830 by the man whose name it bears, Samuel Lamont & Sons Ltd. became one of Northern Ireland’s foremost linen weavers.
Diversifying during the 1950’s into textile printing and terry towel manufacturing Samuel Lamonts soon had an enviable range of top quality household textile items. It gained the Royal Warrant both for retailing and for the supply of bed linen. Having been a founding member of the Irish Linen Guild, it is still a member today.
What we do
Today the Company still manufactures in Ireland but also supplements its ranges with the very best sourced items from abroad giving it a truly global personality.
Samuel Lamont deals in a wide range of bed linen, table linen, bath items, Irish souvenirs, tea towels, and kitchen items; including oven-gloves, aprons, kitchen towels, tea cosies etc.
Where you can see our fabrics/brands/designers working with our material
Samuel Lamont & Sons primarily deals in business to business trade, however items may be purchased by consumers at the two factory shops; one on Henry street in Ballymena, and the other on the Belmont Road in Belfast.
The factory and warehouse site is located in Lurgan.
