Emblem Weavers

About

Emblem Weavers is a family run linen weaving company, based in the old Viking town of Wexford on Irelands south east coast.

History of brand/company

Initially founded by Jim Conway in Dublin’s Amien Street in 1962. The brand developed a growing international reputation for Luxury, fashion linen fabrics. Emblem Weavers expanded in 1981 by establishing its current design and manufacturing facility in Wexford.

What we do

Respect for the traditional craft of linen weaving is at the heart of this family business. Our flair for colour and the love of new expressions of classic forms has led to strong partnerships with some of the great European fashion houses that have lasted decades. Our fabrics are regularly seen on the catwalks of London, Paris and New York, but also in the ateliers of young progressive designers looking for luxury in authentic natural cloth.

Where can you see our fabrics/brands/designers working with our material

Our fabrics are used by some of the best known designer labels in the world, brands such as Hermès, agnès b, Hugo Boss, Burberry and Paul Smith. Emblem Weavers fabrics have also been chosen by cult influencers like Nigel Cabourn of the UK and United Arrows of Japan.

We produce our own limited edition accessories and designer collaborations to help showcase the very best of traditional Irish linen.
